The Peer-to-Patent system experienced downtime at approximately 10pm PST on September 7, 2008. The root cause was a failure of the hosting infrastructure and was not specific to our system.
While the website is up, we are experiencing errors that may reflect additional problems. We are working to resolve the problem.

The Peer to Patent system infrastructure was down briefly at 7:45pm on March 13 due to an unknown cause. The system is now backonline
The Peer-to-Patent system is has been down intermittently from 10pm Feb 15 PST until now (2pm PST) due to an unknown technical problem. Efforts to recover the system are underway.
On Sunday January 27 it appears that a spammer began using "peertopatent.org" as a return address for spam that is being generated. At this time we do not have any indication that these messages originate from within our email system. It is likely that they are from a spammer that is spoofing return addresses from the peertopatent.org domain.
If there are issues related to this spam that you think require our project attention, please send an email message to info AT peertopatent.org and the technical team will determine if we can resolve the problem.

Peer to Patent technical team
The system will be upgraded on July 9 at approximately 10:30pm PST, for maintenance.
A minor system upgrade is scheduled for 12 midnight / 9PM PST on July 3. The expected downtime is approximately 15 minutes. The release schedule may be adjusted based on the when the improvements are completed. (This upgrade has been re-scheduled several times dating back to June 24).
A few users of the website experienced intermittent "500" errors on applications on June 25. This error made certain pages inaccessible. This was due to a web server configuration problem which affected one of the web servers and has now been resolved.
A maintenance upgrade to the Peer-to-Patent software is scheduled for 9pm PST / midnight EST.
The outage is expected to last less than 15 minutes.
