Next System Upgrade Planned for July 3.
A minor system upgrade is scheduled for 12 midnight / 9PM PST on July 3. The expected downtime is approximately 15 minutes. The release schedule may be adjusted based on the when the improvements are completed. (This upgrade has been re-scheduled several times dating back to June 24).
A few users of the website experienced intermittent "500" errors on applications on June 25. This error made certain pages inaccessible. This was due to a web server configuration problem which affected one of the web servers and has now been resolved.

June 19 System upgrade is complete
The June 19 System upgrade is complete.
Changes in this release include:
- Improved page layout for video page
- Increased word count limit for discussion comments and prior art "excerpt"
- Improved handling of quotes, ampersands in discussion comments
- Simplified captcha data input requirements on registration page
- Fixed page caching errors on application list
- Added "Size of Community" metric to treemap graphics
- Allow removing your own annotation on prior art
- Revised the flash graphic on the front page
- Improved layout for prior art list and prior art detail pages
- Fixed defect causing missing claim text
- Fixed spelling errors on video page
Upgrade scheduled for June 19
A maintenance upgrade to the Peer-to-Patent software is scheduled for 9pm PST / midnight EST.
The outage is expected to last less than 15 minutes.
